  1. Start from your kitchen

If you set a goal to lose fat, know that you can actually achieve it. Control and willpower are important. To help you do it, make sure that you stay away from any temptation that would make you go back to your old habits. Clearing your kitchen can be a good way to start. Make sure that your refrigerators are free from unhealthy food. Fill it with food that is healthy and non-fattening instead. By doing so, you can be assured that you will always eat something that is acceptable.

  1. Get enough sleep

You must make sure that you go to sleep earlier than usual. According to experts, staying up late at night will more likely trigger the body to crave for a midnight snack. Similarly, the production of insulin, a sugar-lowering hormone, is better when someone sleeps earlier.

  1. Watch your carb intake

Additionally, experts advise to always have the right amount of carbohydrates in your body. Some believe that loading in carbs can increase your chances of becoming fat. However, it should be remembered that carbs are the body’s source of energy. Thus, you should not totally scrap carbohydrates from in your diet. The recommendation is that you should allot one or two days in a week for a high-carbohydrate diet. This prevents metabolic drop by tricking your body to make it appear that your carbohydrate supply is enough. You need to know that low carbohydrate intake for a long period of time will spike up your hunger pangs, slow down your body’s metabolism and slow down weight loss

  1. Add more protein to your diet

In addition, you should increase your protein intake up to 10-20%. This has the ability to burn fat while the food is being broken down. It also addresses hunger pangs and causes a “thermogenic” effect which increases body temperature and metabolic rate. Meaning, in every 100 calorie intake you make, your body will get rid of the 20-30 percent calories through food breakdown.

You may use supplements such as Instant knockout for quicker fat burning.

  1. Choose foods that only have one ingredient

This means you have to remove processed foods on your list. They won’t help in your weight loss goal. The reason behind this is that single ingredient foods are the ones that retain their natural state most. Hence, they contain most of the nourishment your body needs.

  1. Drink water before you take your meal

Water can also help boosts one’s metabolism and reduce food cravings. Hydrating your body will speed up metabolism. And feeling full before even taking any food makes you want to eat less. By squeezing in lemon to your water, you will lessen your food cravings too.

  1. Drink Green Tea

Making a habit of drinking green tea is also a good practice. Such is due to the fact that the drink can burn fat, as well as remove toxins or free radicals from the body. Other benefits from green tea includes reduction in tissue damage which results from intense workout sessions or dieting. Hot tea will address hunger pangs while its caffeine content increases the amount of fats that are burned. It boosts energy as well. So if your goal is to wake up some day with a lean body then consider adding green tea in your diet.

  1. Use Cardio Variations

When it comes to exercises or workouts, combining high interval intensity training (HIIT) and steady-state cardiovascular training is recommended. Through such, the body’s metabolism will be increased while the fat is being burned. In addition, you should also remember that you must do simple workouts and slowly increase the difficulty levels of your workouts.

  1. Do some yoga

It pays to combat stress and doing yoga at least once a week will help you do so. It also helps you be aware of your body and get in touch with healthy living. Having a good sense of well-being will condition your mind so you can plan your fitness regimen well. It is also effective in relieving muscle soreness as well as pent up tension.

  1. Have one full body workout daily

You may feel undecided whether you should use a full body training or body part split training. Of course, each of them offers different advantages. The first one allows you to hit a large amount of muscles in every workout session. This results to greater metabolism. And this means more downtime or more rest during the week.

The latter will need more frequent workout. And this allows more volume when it comes to muscle glycogen depletion. If you want to avail all these benefits then it is best to combine the two. But if you want to burn major fats, consider doing weight lifting. This is the best way to shed them off.

Do not wait for the day when you find yourself obese. It is a condition where you have too much weight and fat. You need to know that this has started to become a major problem around the world. It affects both the males and females, as well as children.

The sad thing about the situation is that it makes the person at high risk of developing certain diseases. Such include but is not limited to heart ailments, high blood pressure, diabetes, and fatty liver disease.

With such in regard, there are already a lot of fitness centers, as well as fitness nutritionists who help out people who want to lose fat, which will eventually make them lose weight and have a healthier body.

However, most people prefer to get things done on their own. These individuals are the ones who have greater will power and control. It is a good thing there are trainers and nutritionists who can motivate and push you. But your own determination to realize your fitness goals matters the most.

  1. Sounds so easy Lynne 😛 my problem is time – i feel like i don’t have enough hours in my day.

    • Tamara I am on a mission now and I am determined to lose my fat tummy this time. I am also keeping note of everything I do plus I am busy planning a weight loss challenge with meal plans, the works!

You know what has helped me this time? Hypnosis for weight loss, and putting my exercise and health as a priority in the morning before I even start work. It is working well for me. My attitude is positive and I think that makes a huge difference.

      • Your head being in the right place definitely helps Lynne, im slowly starting to get focused. Hopefully we can compare notes in a couple months time 🙂

  2. Starting my “healthy” Journey today 🙂

    • So happy to hear that Tamara, my advice is to take baby steps and add something to your day. For example don’t change anything in the first week regarding your eating and your lifestyle except to drink 8 cups of water a day and take a daily brisk walk. It doesn’t have to be a long walk, it is about getting into the good habit of doing some exercise every day.

Then the next week make another change, slowly but surely you can get healthy and fit.

  3. Thanks Lynne 🙂
