Easily one of the best ways to get kids to eat things they normally wouldn’t want to be by making the food more fun. Increasing the appeal of kale can make the difference between stubborn children and children asking for more. One suggestion is to try making kale into popsicles, essentially by freezing a smooth mixture into molds. You could also experiment with kale pizza, which is a great way to incorporate other vegetables into the meal. By making kale fun, you’re showing your kids that they don’t need to be afraid of new things.

Everyone loves baked goods, and this is another option for picky eaters who don’t necessarily have a sweet tooth: use kale in a savory pastry recipe. In fact, kale and feta muffins are so easy to make that you could even get the kids to help you through the whole process. Either way, at the end of it, you’ll have some muffins that you and your little ones can’t keep your hands off.
