How To Make No Cook Playdough

To make no cook playdough with Maizena and conditioner, you will need 1 cup of Maizena (cornstarch) and ½ cup of hair conditioner. You can use any brand or scent of conditioner that you like.

In a mixing bowl, combine the Maizena and hair conditioner. Use a spoon or your hands to mix the ingredients together until they form a smooth, pliable dough. If the dough is too dry, add more conditioner. If it’s too sticky, add more Maizena.

Mixing Soft Playdough

Add colour to your playdough by adding a few drops of food colouring or liquid watercolours to the dough. Knead the dough until the colour is evenly distributed.

Your no cook playdough with Maizena and conditioner is now ready to play with! Store it in an airtight container or plastic bag when you’re not using it to keep it fresh and pliable.

One of the great things about making your own playdough is that you can customise it to your liking. Try using different scents of hair conditioner to create playdough with different smells. You could also add essential oils or extracts to the dough for a more natural scent.

No cook playdough with Maizena and conditioner is perfect for sensory play. Kids can squish, mould, and shape the dough to their heart’s content, while also engaging their senses of touch and smell.

Making no cook playdough with Maizena and conditioner is a fun group activity that kids can do together. Set up a playdough station with different colours and scents of dough, and let the kids get creative. They can make sculptures, animals, or even use cookie cutters to make shapes.
