My Moondust Keepsake Necklace Review

I first came across Megan Golder Design when I was researching breast milk jewellery in South Africa for a post I was writing. I would have loved to have had a breast milk necklace or ring made but I only found out about these necklaces long after my breastfeeding journey was over.

Megan contacted me recently since I included her company in the post I wrote and we started chatting about a collaboration. I was so excited to be offered a keepsake jewellery item and had a look around her website. The Moondust Keepsake Necklace caught my eye. I love the moon and you can choose the phase of the moon on a particular date and time, this is a lovely concept.

I chose to send my children’s baby hair to Megan to add to my keepsake necklace. Ordering the necklace on her site was quick and easy, and you get to add a collection date for the courier to collect the item you are adding to the jewellery. After I placed my order Megan contacted me to ask me if I had anything in mind when it came to how the necklace would look and I told her I only have a keepsake necklace in mind, she is the artist so she can have fun and surprise me.

When the necklace arrived I was very impressed with the way it was packaged, it came in a black box with a black jewellery box inside.

The necklace is absolutely gorgeous, the pendant looks just like a full moon and there are little sparkly bits inside when you look closely. The chain is 50cm sterling silver. It is a petite and striking necklace that will go with anything I wear.
