  • Pushups through TRX Suspension

We all know that pushups are a wonderful workout making use of your chest, shoulder and back muscles. Now the same pushup with the TRX suspension is quite amazing and challenging too. First, you will have to stand facing against the TRX, and the feet should have shoulder-width distance and hold the handle of TRX at chest height. Now lean forward and make sure that only elbows are moving to lean forward. Now come back to the starting position. This is one of the most basic strength training for weight loss for women.

  • Inverted Rowing

Now this TRX workout for women is amazing for strong back muscles. Rowing is all about using your back muscles. So, in this case, you will have to lie down facing the TRX, after that the knees will be bent and the feet will be on the ground. You will have to pull yourself up using the elbows.   • Triceps workout

Now for this workout, you will have to face against the TRX suspension cable. Now hold the handle just in front of your face. The palm should be placed on the handle facing opposite to the face, and the angle of elbows should be 90 degrees. Now bent forward using the elbows till your hands are straight, and return to the same position. This will ensure that your triceps muscles are getting worked out using your body weight.   • Biceps Curl

Now this is similar to triceps workout, but in this case, you will have to stand facing towards the TRX suspension cable, and while holding the handle, your palms should face towards your face. Now lean backward and let the arm be straight. Using the elbows pull yourself up and then get back to the first position. This will exert pressure on your biceps. At first, this might seem to be pretty tough, but once you get used to it, it will not be so tough.

  • Lunges

Now for a strong leg, lunges is the best workout for women. This strength training for weight loss for women involves placing your left foot on both the handles and stretch the right foot forward. After that, you will have to bend your knees lower on the ground and make it parallel to the floor. Now get back up to the initial starting position. Now before you start with these workouts, you must keep some important things in mind.

  • Make sure that you are resting within workouts

Now this is very important since you don’t want to drain out all of your energy while doing a single workout. Don’t drink much too water within the sets, as it will make you feel quite full. So, it’s better to drink only a little water between the sets.

  • Intensity should be high

Don’t be lazy during workouts, always keep sure that your intensity is pretty good. Now, also make sure that you are not rushing through the workouts. These strength training for weight loss for women workouts should be done with proper form and with proper speed. So, maintaining a good posture and keeping a good intensity is very important.

  • Always stay hydrated

I have been in the fitness industry for about 12 years and believe me I have seen it all! I became a fitness enthusiast when I was on holiday with my two daughters. We were walking down the beach when suddenly my youngest (the braver out of the two) just started running up what I would describe as a mountain.

My heart wasn’t just pounding at this point it felt like it was going to stop, I was so unfit that I was struggling to protect my children. When I finally caught up to them I was so out of breath I couldn’t even tell them off!!

Well any way cut the next few years short I joined a gym and really got the passion for fitness and helping people, I made a concious decision, I want this for a career. I went college and learned different aspects of fitness and got my first job in a gym.

After about four years helping people nationally I decided to travel the UK for the next year and a half to help more and I loved it.

However, this wasn’t to last as tragedy fell and my best friend who shared this journey with me passed away, and that’s when I decided to reach out to more people on the internet and the birth of arose.

    • Tamara, I am sure it is, check out this post about TRX suspension training written by Steven. At the bottom of the post he has links to Amazon, so maybe they ship here? Otherwise I am sure if you go to a sports shop, or maybe even somewhere like Game you will be able to find some.

      I agree it with you, it really looks awesome. For me, I need to find time to work out at home. Gym is so expensive but also just plain inconvenient when I have so little time and I am busy with my kids.

    • Tamara yeah I know, I also had a look at gym prices recently and it is just so scary to see how expensive everything is! Plus going to the gym is tricky if you are short of time with the kids and all.

    • OMG @lisaanderson I am jealous, my son is 3 and my daughter is 5 and I have this seriously flabby tummy. I must admit that I am now taking it seriously and making a mission to work it off. I can see the difference but I am far from making major progress yet!
