  1. Mountain Pose

The first pose that we’re going to mention is something called Mountain Pose. Now, this is one of the most basic poses in yoga and one that you should start every routine with.

You perform mountain pose by standing with your two feet flat on the floor, rooted into the ground, and hold your hands by your side. It’s pretty simple!

You will stay in this position for however long you need in order to take into account how you’re feeling from your head to your toes. This is basically time for you to scan your entire body, figure out your pain points, and get ready for the next poses.

  1. Chair Pose

The chair pose is one of the best poses for you to try to fix your posture. As you can probably tell from the title, the chair pose is going to have you sitting in an imaginary chair.

  1. Cat Pose

Cat pose is fantastic if you want to get rid of that back pain you’re feeling from a poor posture. This is a really great way to stretch out all of your muscles in your stomach and your back. You’ll probably hear your back crack at least once during this pose!

The cobra pose is definitely one of the most powerful positions you can do to stretch out your back and stomach muscles. You are seriously going to feel the burn when you hold this pose for a long time.

Just lay down on your yoga mat, put your hands directly under your shoulders, and push up to stretch out your back. You can hold this for however long you would like to and then go back to lying on the ground.

Do this a couple of times until you feel great. Look up at the ceiling and you’re definitely going to feel the stretching.

  1. Warrior Pose

Warrior pose is a great way to get your posture in order and strengthen your core muscles. This is one of the most classic yoga positions that pretty much everyone knows how to do.

Start in a standing position, like the mountain pose. You will then move forward with one of your feet, twist around, move your hands out to the side, and keep that pose for however long is comfortable. Then you will go and do the other side.

Be sure to keep your core strong and you’re going to easily keep your balance! Make sure to also keep your back straight.

  1. Child Pose

Child pose is one of those poses that you should do after every single workout that you do. This is normally how every yoga routine ends, so make sure to add this one to your list!

You will get down on your knees and just put your head and hands forward on your mat. Push your butt backwards and stretch as far as you can with your arms. This is going to give your back a good stretch and help to get rid of any tension that you feel. You’ll be acting like a child without any back pain soon!

  1. Reclining Hero Pose

This next pose is going to help straighten your back and open up your chest like no other. All you have to do is get on your knees and slowly move backward until your back is close to the floor.

This one is going to take some getting used to, but the stretch is going to feel amazing. It can feel a bit painful at first and you may not be able to do the entire pose all of the way the first time around. However, once you do this a couple of times throughout many yoga sessions, you are going to be able to complete this pose without a problem.
