It has been a hard week behind the scenes 15 July 2022. Having to cope with extreme loadshedding, working from home, and having kids at home has been intensely trying this week. I’m looking forward to sending my kids back to school next week and getting a chance to catch up on work and have some alone time.

Nova Choc-Oh-Late
I received another delivery from Nova Choc-Oh-Late and I’ve been trying out a number of recipes over the holidays. Unfortunately a lot of them turned out to be complete flops. Thankfully the last recipe I tried was a great success and my family absolutely love it. I made an oats and chocolate cake – no bake and only three ingredients. Check it out here.

Guess what? I did it! I have finally made enough cash back from SnapnSave to buy the bicycle I want. I am waiting on my last few slips to be approved so I can buy it online from Game. Hopefully this time next week I will have placed my order. I’m super excited about it.
Magnolia Tissue Oil
My skin has been looking and feeling dry, dull, and old lately. While waiting in the line in Pepstores recently I saw Bramley’s Magnolia Tissue Oils and it was only R24.99 so I bought it. I’ve been using it for a few days and I can really feel and see the difference. Once I’ve used for a bit longer I will write a review on it. So far I am very impressed, it has made a big difference.

My new duvet cover set from Amazon arrived this week and it looks stunning. I’m not using it yet or even taking it out of the bag, I’m waiting until we move to our new home. I am buying a number of things to redecorate my bedrooms and will do a bedroom reveal once I’ve bought everything I want.
The grey blanket I’ve ordered should arrive within the next few days and I have enough money earned through Ysense to buy the bedside lamp set I have my eye on. I’m waiting for my gift cards to be processed and sent to me. I should be able to place that order within a few days.

I’ve been sharing a lot in my weekly updates on some of the ways I make an extra income through online surveys and my favourite platform for this is Ysense. I’m averaging around $100 a month income from Ysense and it looks like July is going to my highest every earning month which is amazing.

Some of the dishes are not edible and some are edible and taste great but look awful 🙂 The week before I made something that looked amazing on Youtube, like absolutely amazing. I made it and it did not come out right. My husband said it tasted nice and asked me why it flopped. I showed him the Youtube video what it should have looked like and he nearly choked laughing.
The thing with SnapnSave is that there are sometimes ok cash back offers and sometimes there are incredible cash back offers. They change all the time so you must check in all the time. Another thing I’ve learned is that if something comes up that you buy regularly but don’t need immediately buy it anyway since I have often left it thinking I will buy it next week when I actually need it and then the offer has been used up! I got incredible deals with Pantene – there were 4 100% cash back offers on Pentene products! I went and bought them at Clicks on a 3 for 2 special so I not only got all 4 products for free I actually gained R79.99! Also if you snap 10 or more offers in a month you become a Super Snapper and get exclusive cash back offers. I think the Pantene offers were Super Snapper offers.
Regarding the Magnolia Oil – ‘ve now been using it for about a week and I can see and feel a huge difference. I will most certainly get that review up as soon as possible. I love that it is so inexpensive at R49.99 a bottle and you use so little of it. My bottle still looks 100% full after a week of use. It is going to last me a very long time!

I have really dry dry skin and now after using Benzac ac gel my face is extremely dry too I should try magnolia oil maybe it will help ease the dryness because wow it’s too much

i loved the simple cake you made recently with Nova choc and oats. i am still looking for my harddrive plug so i can do my photobook. Majorette set is so exciting to collect, i have been so busy this week, took my toddler to get her passport done and the system crashed like 3 times, it waas very difficult for her to take pictures out 4 times.
