As I get older I find that I enjoy my coffee more and more. Gone are the days of instant coffee and in it’s place I enjoy filter coffee, made either in my percolator or my coffee machine.
The most important part of my morning routine is my first cup of morning coffee – without that I am just lost and quite frankly moody for the day!
My percolator broke recently and my coffee machine is getting older and not providing piping hot coffee, but rather lukewarm coffee whichis not doing it for me anymore. I’ve been researching a replacement coffee machine.
Recently I went to a friend for coffee and she had a new Nespresso machine which pleased me no end. I had heard of Nespresso and read a few reviews but never sampled it before. She gave me the run down on her Nespresso Essenza Miniand and I have to admit that I am so tempted to get one for myself.
Here’s why you won’t regret buying a Nespresso machine if you are a coffee lover:
- A Wide Range Of Nespresso Machineso
Nespresso has a whole range of machines, which means that they will no doubt have something that will perfectly suit your needs. Most of the Nespresso machines come with a milk frother so you can enjoy your lattes and cappuccinos too.
- Nespresso Is Quick
Believe it or not but a Nespresso machine will make you an amazing cup of coffee quicker than it will take you to boil the kettle and make an instant cup of coffee! All Nespresso machines will heat and produce your cup of coffee in less than a minute from the moment you turn it on. This is just perfect for a busy mom having a hectic morning getting the kids ready for school.
- Nespresso Is Convenient & Easy To Use
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure this machine out. Simply fill it with water and put your Nespresso capsule in and press the right button. It really is as simple as that!
You don’t have to worry about how much coffee to put in, how fine to grind it, temperatures or any other niggly settings. This also means that there is less mess and fuss since you won’t be measuring any coffee and you won’t have open bags of coffee that you need to store. Once again a big time win for moms that don’t need any more mess to clean up in their day!
- High Quality Coffee
The Nespresso capsules come in a variety of flavor and you will be hard pressed to find the same level of quality coffee anywhere else. Due to the fact the capsules are sealed in aluminium cases which completely protect the coffee from light and oxidization, the coffee inside stays fresh for months. Under other circumstances fresh roasted coffee must be used with a few weeks, even when it is stored in an airtight container.
This means you can keep your coffee on hand and drink it at your own leisure without having any concern for the freshness and quality of your coffee.
Since the Nespresso coffee is such incredible quality it can get a little pricey, so it will be well worth it to do some study around Nespresso capsules to know the best places to buy from.
- Smart Design
The Nespresso range of machines are smart, modern and sleek which will no doubt make a great feature for any kitchen. Who doesn’t love a coffee machine that is an asset to your home decor?
- It is Compact
Gone are the days when coffee machines are huge and bulky – the Nespresso is a compact machine that won’t take up too much kitchen space. This is a huge benefit for those with small kitchens and limited counter space.
If you love your java then you just have to agree that these are all great reasons to invest in a Nespresso machine!
About 2 years ago my husband bought me a Nespresso Coffee Machine. The start up, buying the machine, getting pods exc is expensive but once you have it, its amazing!! The pods aren’t that expensive, if you look at it this way. What do u pay in a coffee shop for a cup of coffee? The pods come in a back of 10 and the range from R80 – R120 a box. Thats beween R8 and R12 a cup of coffee.
Me being a new mom and still breastfeeding drinking coffee is not a good thing as it is bad for baby. But with Nespresso i can enjoy and decent cup of decaf!! You get all the flavors in decaf so you don’t even have too settle for something you don’t like!
I think it is a must in every moms house!!
I’ve always dreamt of owning my own coffee machine. Frankly, I’m not even picky about he brand or make. I am such a coffee addict and my day basically starts once I’ve had my first cup. I’ve entered so many competitions with coffee machines, but haven’t been lucky yet. But I will keep trying. You never know, my luck might just change.
Yes really want one of these so quick and easy, when we got married we got a gift voucher and we bought a coffee machine with it but its such a long process to make the coffee that we stopped using it, so this is on my wish list 🙂
I really looooove my coffee machine. Its so easy to make a cuppachino (my 3 year old pushes the buttons for me). 🙂
I have 2 Nespresso machines and I do admit nothing is easier to clean or more simple to use. I just have a problem with the fact that there are so few Nespresso shops around. I don’t like ordering things over the internet- I’m old school. My closest hop is in Sandton which is over 70km away. I wish Nespresso was more accessible at more points.
I confess. I am a coffee addict. On waking up in the morning, the thought of having my first cuppa brings a smile to my parched lips and I roll out of bed a little easier. I almost skip to the kitchen and the sweet gurgling of the coffee machine when I switch it on makes me almost happier than the sound of the birds in my garden.
The first time I laid eyes on a Nespresso machine was at a client’s office. I loved the sleek design of the machine, the colorful and stylish pods, the pod guide that seduces you to try them all!
I started doing research and actually almost swiped my somewhat thin credit card (I could hear it groan, but, oh, it’s worth it, I thought) to purchase my cherry red Nespresso machine and first box of pods, when a small and very irritating voice in the back of my head started whining about the environment. Ugh! So, dutifully and highly disappointed I turned around, and with drooping shoulders, skulked away – a solitary tear for my lost Nespresso dripping onto my relieved credit card.
Months, and much more research and pining later, I still don’t have the machine. But I’m getting my recycling system ready …
I do love a quality cup of coffee like from the Nespresso Pods but I’m honestly happy to use my old-fashioned coffee plunger with any good coffee brand. I can even tolerate the odd Nescafé or Jacobs but please don’t give me chicory “coffee”! I’d then rather have tea thank you! 😁
