Cabo Beach Club Press Lunch – What A Superb Event!

Getting out of the house and going on a day trip to go to Cabo Beach Club press lunch was fantastic. I went with Judy MacGregor from Fun Mamma SA and we had a lovely time.

About Cabo Beach Club

Cabo Beach Club is located at the Waterfront in Cape Town. They offer dining in a luxurious setting overlooking the ocean, as well as a lounge, pool, and bars.

The Venue

The venue is absolutely stunning with outdoor and indoor seating to dine, as well as loungers next to the pool and overlooking the water. They have an indoor and outdoor bar and a stunning lounge inside. The pool is right next to the ocean and the outdoor area is beach sand.

Inside the venue there is a large fireplace, making a very cosy and warm atmosphere.

It is the perfect venue for a day relaxing by the sea, an outing with your kids, a night out at the bar, or a romantic date with your partner.

The Food

We had a 3 course meal, starting with champagne, oysters and sushi, followed by a choice of Tagliata Sirloin, Whole Baked Fish, or Cauliflower Steak. Dessert was a choice of Fig & Honey Tart, The CABO Brownie, or Coconut Panna Cotta.

I had some sushi to start, followed by sirloin, and brownies for dessert. Every dish was divine and beautifully presented.

The menu at Cabo Beach Bar offers something for everyone. Burgers and pizza’s for light meals and family outings, and other meals such as seafood platters, and steak for a more special meal out. You can view their menu here.

The Guests

The guests were a mixture of high society guests, such as The Housewives Of Cape Town, as well as media guests.

I sat with mom bloggers Judy MacGregor (Fun Mamma SA), Joleen dddd (Miller In The City), and Cisca De (mmm), as well as Vernon Pillay (in the business news industry). We had great fun and it was awesome to meet Noleen and Cisca in person for the first time.

Violinist Kirsty Bows

The live entertainment for the day was violinist Kirsty Bows. It was superb. She is beautiful, talented, and has such a lovely down to earth personality. Her performance was one of the highlights of the day for me.

A huge thank you to The Little Black Book for organising such a fantastic event and for the invite. I had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back to Cabo Beach Club with my family.
