Majorette Tune Ups Series 2
Last year when Majorette Tune Ups launched in South Africa we received the first series to review and we absolutely loved them. Now Series 2 is out and my son is over the moon. The Papery – New Journal
I love journals and I always have a number on hand. I’ve been on a mission to buy nice things for my home, for myself, and for my family without paying any of my own money. The way I do this is through online surveys and shopping apps. I wanted to start a new journal to record all the awesome things I buy, to keep me motivated and because well its just fun.

Farm Visit – A Loadshedding Break
My kids and I spent the last week at my parent’s farm in Swellendam. We visit every school holidays and it is always fantastic to see my parents and have some quiet time on the farm. It was especially great this time since the farm has solar power, a gas geyser and a gas oven. The loadshedding has been so extreme lately and it has been incredibly hard to manage with work. What a pleasure to have a break from loadshedding.
We picked oranges, cracked open lots of nuts, had a beautiful sunset picnic up the mountain, and did some baking during our stay. When we arrived back home it was to no power, no surprise there right?
So Close To Buying My Bicycle
One of the items on my wish list is to buy a bicycle so that I can cycle with my kids. I can’t keep up with them when they are on their bikes and I am not comfortable with them cycling on the road on their own.
I am so close to buying it with the money from selling our indoor bike (R850) and the cash back I’ve received through SnapnSave. I’ve got less than R100 to go until I have the full amount to buy the bike I have my eye on. It’s not a fancy bike, it costs R2499 from Game.
I’m hoping that within the next week I will be able to withdraw my cash from SnapnSave to buy it. More about SmapnSave later on in this post.

Loving My Amazon Orders!
I’m so excited about my Amazon orders and for the things on my Amazon wish list that I’m planning on buying soon. I’m more in love with the handbag I bought a few weeks ago than I was when I bought it. It is beyond perfect for my needs. Click here to read my review on my handbag.
I’ve got two things on the way that should be here within the next few days – a new duvet cover set and a lovely grey blanket. I’m redoing my own bedroom first and I’m starting with my bed.
The next item on my Amazon wish list is this set of bedside lamps. They are so beautiful plus they have USB charging ports for charging devices. I need to make about another $35 before I can place my order.
Make Money Online– Ysense, SurveyTime, Sweatcoin, CashPiggy , App Flame, Cashyy
My all time favourite app for making a side income through completing surveys and offers, playing games and referring others is Ysense. To date I’ve made over $2400 through Ysense and I make approximately $100 extra income each month. While I usually used to cash out via Paypal or Payoneer, I am now cashing out via Amazon gift card. I’m on a mission to redecorate our new home when we move in a few months time and this is a fantastic way to do it without having to pay out of my bank account.

Another survey platform I really love is SurveyTime – they usually pay out $1 per survey, although sometimes the surveys are $0.50. Another app that I enjoy is Sweatcoin, although I’m getting impatient now for them to launch their SWEAT crypto so I can see how that works out so that I can write my review on Sweatcoin and include all the information. My favourite app for saving money is SnapnSave. I’ve earned back over R1500 cash since joining at the beginning of this year. SnapnSave gives you cash back on your everyday shopping. The Entertainer is a fantastic app for getting two for one offers. It is free to FNB customers, otherwise there is an annual fee. If you are going to make regular use of it then it is definitely worth paying for.

Appflame is an app where you can earn to play games, it is very similar to Cashyy. Honestly I’m not focusing on those anymore. They do pay out, but I am only focusing on Ysense and SurveyTime since those I find the most success with.
