Amber Teething Necklaces

Amber teething necklaces are always my top choice when it comes to teething remedies. All you have to do is put it on your baby and it works wonders. I used amber teething necklaces for both my babies and I highly recommend every mom with a teething baby gets one.

Of all the baby teething remedies this is the best.

The baltic amber releases succinic acid when worn against the skin and this can soothe pain and relieve many of the symptoms of teething.

In fact I had a baltic amber necklace of my own which I wore to relieve bad menstruation pain and migraines. It worked beautifully.

Cold Face Cloth

Wet a clean face cloth and put it in the fridge to chill then fold it up nice and small. Give it to your baby to chew on. Be careful not to leave your baby unattended with a face cloth as this can be a choking hazard.

Teething Mittens

This teething mitten is a great teething solution for your baby.  This mitten can be worn on the left or right hand and it helps to prevent your baby from scratching while giving a great textured silicone surface for your baby to chew on. Many young babies cannot hold onto their teethers which makes this the perfect teether as it is worn and does not constantly get dropped on the floor.

Baby Feeder

This baby feeder is not only a wonderful way for your baby to progress from liquids to eating solid foods, it also makes for a fantastic thing for your baby to chew. You can make the experience even better for your baby by putting fruit in the fridge to cool before putting it into the feeder which will make it more soothing for your baby’s sore gums.

  1. Oh yes, teething babies have a tough time managing that phase. That teething necklace for mommy looks so pretty and useful! I also like the baby feeder! When my son started teething, we baked edible rings for him to hold and chew on. He would suck on it and then throw it after it became soft! It was so funny watching him do that–and the look of surprise on his face as the soaked ring fell apart? Priceless!

All these are great suggestions to relieve baby’s teething distress!

Of course, there are many home remedies that our moms and grandmoms would suggest.

    • Lynne Huysamen

Have you discussed his weight with your doctor? If you are concerned about his weight I really think the best thing to do would be to run it by your doctor and have them chart his weight to see if he is gaining enough.
