Low Carb Diet: Get Real Food and Eat It Only When You’re Hungry

Losing weight can be a royal pain for some people. It’s not an easy thing to do and it takes a lot of time. The rule is simple: eat less, exercise more. However, this does not work in the long run. Some people choose to ignore their hunger, and exercise all day. Let’s not even mention their will. Eventually, many people give up. The best idea is to choose a low-carb diet. We’ve written this article to give you some tips on how to lose the weight. Don’t forget to measure your Body Mass Index before choosing your diet with Aaptiv.

Low Carb Diet - Get Real Food and Eat It Only When You're Hungry

Get real food

When choosing a low-carb diet, many people fall for the “low carb” products – it’s a scam. Those products have many chemicals that won’t help you lose the weight. You need to get real food, like eggs, nuts, meat, fish, olive oil and vegetables.

It’s understandable why marketers look for every way to sell their products, but that doesn’t mean that you have to fall into the scam. They’ll do anything to fool you in order to get your money. You’ll hear that you can eat all the ice cream, pasta, and cookies that you want, as long as they’re from their brand. These products are full of chemicals and carbs – and they’re not good for you.

Same happens with bread – if it’s baked with grains, then it’s not low carb. The low-carb cholocate is made out of sugar alcohols – which is not counted as a carb. Almost half of these carbs are not going to be absorbed, but will raise the blood sugar and the insulin. The rest of the carbs get in the colon, and they will cause you diarrhea and gas. There are two things you can do to stay away from them: don’t eat anything with “low carb” on it, and also stay away from the products on which is written “net carbs”, too.

Only eat when you’re hungry

If you chose the low-carb diet, then you should only eat when you are hungry. If you’re not hungry, don’t eat at all. If you’re not hungry and you still eat, your process will go slower and you don’t want that.

We all know what it’s like to watch a movie and to want to eat something. You need to leave this habit behind. Stay away from the dairy products – creams and cheeses. You’re probably eating because it tastes good, not because you’re hungry. Nuts – it’s easy to eat them, but don’t take advantage of that, especially if we’re talking about salted nuts (that are harder to stop eating than the unsalted nuts). If you do want to eat, don’t bring the entire bag with you, get a small bowel instead.

Low-carb baking is another issue. You might be using almond flour and sweeteners on your baking, but it will still slow down the weight loss process.
