6 Lunch Recipes for 8+ months baby

Recipe #1 – Rice, Cauliflower, Swede
For 1 time meal:
2 tsp rice
1/4 cup of cauliflower (chopped)
1/4 cup of swede (chopped)
water – 3/4 cup

For freezing : (1 week food 8 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1 cup of cauliflower
1.5 cups of swede
water – 3 cups

How much to serve:
Baby may eat around 1/2 cup of food around 8+ months..
The consistency can be a thick puree or mashed (depends on your baby’s choice 🙂

Recipe #2 – Rice , Ladyfinger, Carrot
For 1 time meal:
2 tsp rice
1/4 cup of ladyfinger (chopped)
1/4 cup of carrot (chopped)
water – 3/4 cup

For freezing : (1 week food 8 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1 cup of ladyfinger
1.5 cups of carrot
water – 3 cups


Recipe #3 – Rice, Carrot, Squash
For 1 time meal:
2 tsp rice
1/4 cup of carrot (chopped)
1/4 cup of squash(chopped)
water – 3/4 cup

For freezing : (1 week food 8 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1.5 cups of carrot
1 cup of squash
water – 3 cups

Recipe #4 – Rice, Broccoli, Moong daal/split yellow lentil
For 1 time meal:
2 tsp rice
1/4 cup of broccoli (chopped)
1 Tbsp daal (split yellow lentil)
water – 3/4 cup

For freezing : (1 week food 8 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1.5 cups of broccoli
1/2 cup of daal ( split yellow lentil )
water – 3 cups


Recipe #5 – Rice, Yam, Cauliflower
For 1 time meal:
2 tsp rice
1/4 cup of yam (chopped)
1/4 cup of cauliflower (chopped)
water – 3/4 cup

For freezing : (1 week food 8 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1 cup of yam
1.5 cups of cauliflower
water – 3 cups

Recipe #6 – Rice, Beetroot, Butternut squash
For 1 time meal:
2 tsp rice
1/4 cup of butternut squash (chopped)
1/4 cup of beetroot (chopped)
water – 3/4 cup

For freezing : (1 week food 8 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1.5 cups of butternut squash
1 cup of beetroot
water – 3 cups
