Being pregnant is no walk in the park and as your pregnancy progresses you will find that you are encountering more aches and pains with every passing day. You will also be finding it harder and harder to be comfortable and you will no longer be fitting into your normal clothing. Being able to dress up and wear something that really flatters your new pregnancy shape will make your pregnancy so much easier.

Wearing maternity dresses is the best during pregnancy, they are comfortable and lots of maternity dresses will continue to accommodate your growing bump and also be suitable for wear after your baby has been born.
Here are some tips to keep in mind when choosing maternity dresses:
Buy A Solid Color or Minimal Print Maternity Dress
Being pregnant you are going to be feeling rather large, wearing very busy prints will make you look even bigger. For this reason it is best to go for plain colors or a minimal print.
Choosing plain colors is also a great idea since it will be easier for you to mix and match your maternity dresses with the rest of your clothing.
Choose Figure Hugging Maternity Dresses
Go for maternity dresses that fit your figure and have some stretch in them so that you can wear the maternity dress from early on in your pregnancy until after the birth of your baby and still look great in it.
Go for a maternity dress that brings out your bump and makes it a feature by having ruching or maybe a belt. Avoid buying any maternity dresses that are big and bulky. You want to show off your bump, not hide it.

Buy A few Good Dresses
You won’t be pregnant forever and you don’t need to buy a massive amount of clothing to get you through your pregnancy. Rather make a few wise choices when it comes to maternity wear. Check out the buyer reviews on Amazon before making a purchase, this will give you some good insight into the quality of the garment and other important information relating to the sizing and fit before you make your choice.

I love the cowl neck and over the shoulder dress and the sweetheart party dress.
The great thing about the party dress is that you can wear it afterwards as well. It is a very flattering look.
I loved showing off my baby bump when I was pregnant. This was the one time that I didn’t have to hide my belly. I could proudly show it off. (By wearing appropriate clothing I have to mention).
It’s a pity that I didn’t take a lot of pictures of my belly when I was pregnant but I do have two stunning pictures that will always remind me of that special time in my life.
I loved being pregnant and I knew it is only a one time affair, so I’ll have to treasure and remember everything. It went by so quickly. People warned me but I didn’t believe them. Nine months is almost a year!
But they were right.
Pregnant women are so beautiful and there are so many pregnancy clothes and styles available today.
Beautiful dresses!
Why is it that when people think of pregnant women they normally associate her with track pants, t-shirts and slops? This has been a mindset of quite a few people that I know on a personal level. Unfortunately I did not disappoint when I was pregnant, I also remained mostly in that sort of attire.
If we was invited to a function I chose to skip it rather than dress up and go.
I enjoyed my pregnancy, and the only time I did dress up was for a photo shoot at seven months pregnant.
From all the dresses in the article I love the cowl neck over the shoulder dress, it is simply figure flattering. Looks classic but stylish. 😊
These are lovely dresses. I also liked the cowl neck dress. It’s great that nowadays, moms-to-be are proud of their bumps rather than trying to hide them. I had a couple of full-length dresses which fell from the bust, a style which works well to flatter the figure that comes with a growing tummy. What is also nice about them is their versaility because they fit just as well after birth, regardless of breast size or tummy size. We have several Chinese shops near our home, and I found that in addition to the dresses I bought there, they also sell wonderfully elasticized pants that fitted under my bump and were never uncomfortable. All I needed to do was to shorten the ends slightly to make sure I didn’t trip!
Wow they look amazing… At least with these stunning dresses pregnant women don’t have to look slopy😂
These dresses are amazing.Any pregnant woman would look stunning in them…no need for tight fitting ugly close anymore.Elegant
What a fantastic article! It’s great that woman can still feel beautiful while they are pregnant, this is so inspiring!

That Beachcoco dress is fantastic – I would have loved one of those when I was pregnant! It would have made me feel so elegant.
I wish women in general, would stop trying to hide their pregnancy, and rather show ever-one how blessed they are! There’s little more beautiful, than a woman showing she’s about to provide a miracle!
Beautiful. How I miss my baby bump. I loved showing off my bump during my pregnancies
These are such stunning dresses. I wish I had some during my pregnancy.
Such gorgeous dresses! I did indulge in some pretty maternity clothes back when I was pregnant long ago, but none of them were as fabulous as these. It’s great connecting with you, Lynne.
