I have to be honest here, I am feeling so demotivated and frustrated. I was feeling fine though until I stepped on the scale this morning and found that I have lost no weight and when I measured my waist I have lost nothing there either.
I have been dragging my ass out of bed every morning at 6am to exercise and it feels now like it has been for nothing. I do know that this is not the case, that there are changes going on in my body because I can feel the firmness and I can feel that I am healthier but that doesnβt change how my heart dropped with disappointment.
I know that I must not let this get me down or give up yet, this will take some time.
I did achieve all my goals from last week, so I should be proud of myself but something is just missing. I want to start seeing some results now.
Iβm going to push myself a bit harder this week with the exercise and step it up a notch.
Here are my weight loss goals for this week:
- Exercise 7 days this week β 2 x 30 min runs, 3 x 32 min home cardio, 2 x 37 min home cardio
- Positive Affirmations daily
- Daily 5 meditations
I am hoping that the daily meditations and the positive affirmations will help me to get my positivity back in track. I will catch up with you all next week -hopefully with some results!
@lynne – I am in the same boat!! Nothing is happening and it makes me want to stuff my face with pizza and cream soda!!! You’re not alone!
I wish you a good week ahead, you’re still doing a phenomenal job π
OK so then we are exactly where we are supposed to be @tamara737 ? It doesn’t feel like I am getting anywhere… grrrrr ok just keep at it. And yes you are so right, that is exactly how I feel – if I am not losing weight why not pig out right? LOL
Bwhahahaha!!! That’s EXACTLY how I think. If nothing is happening – why bother lol
Its getting your mind focused when nothing is happening that’s the greatest challenge.
PS – Video says unavailable. Is it on my side again? π
Woopsie, I had it set to private and forgot to put it onto public LOL. Thanks for making me aware of that.
@lynne, Video is working π
I have to say that your scale might not say much but you look FANTASTIC!!!! You look healthy and vibrant, things are definitely happening!! Keep it up Lynne xxx
Thanks @tamara737 much appreciated – it really does help when people cheer you on doesn’t it? How are you doing? You said you are also feeling demotivated… are you exercising and working on your eating plan?
You’re right @lynne, it really does. I’ve been following my eating plan yes! I haven’t managed to include any exercise (I know lol) but it is definitely in the pipeline LOL i know once i start that i will start to feel better and see more results, its just trying to get motivated Hahaha I really despise exercise π
In my experience, besides cardio, strength training is a great addition for fat/ weight loss. This is because generally, strength training helps boost metabolism, therefore, increasing resting energy expenditure. That’s the reason why I’d combine weight training and cardio on every workout if I planned to lose some weight or burn fat.
Thanks Marshall. I have added weights to some of the exercises I was doing. I would like to do some more strength training but I have no equipment at home except for weights. What would you advise?
Week 7 @lynne you have come so far keep on fighting for that lovely body you always wanted

Read and watch these π
I find they help with motivation, also try the meditation (just for a little extra something) π xx
