Let’s Stand Together and Support Slipper Day 2022

For 34 years, South Africa’s best NGO has fulfilled the dreams of children fighting life-threatening illnesses. These little dreamers’ childhoods are marred with endless doctors’ visits, lengthy hospital stays and often painful treatments – which is why the foundation remains committed to inspiring hope in these children and their families’ lives.

Let's Stand Together and Support Slipper Day 2022

Reach For A Dream has previously been supported by industry giants Wimpy, Dis-Chem Pharmacies and Pick ‘n Pay for its largest annual fundraiser. With the onboarding of two new partners this year, TOYZONE and Baby City, the foundation intends to reach more South Africans. This fun initiative is geared to every single South African, any age and in any industry, from schools and corporates to individuals.  Last year, through your support, we generated over R6 million, and all funds were used to fulfil the dreams of our little dreamers. With your help this year, we plan to fulfil even more dreams and reach our target of R8 million.

In the spirit of this year’s running themes, unity and support, Reach For A Dream would like to encourage South Africa to stand together and show their support on Slipper Day, Friday, 6 May 2022. We’ve seen the impossible made possible throughout history when South Africans stand together for change.

”Our call to action this year is simple. We ask all South Africans to rally behind us and play their part in being visible agents of change. The Foundation’s biggest goal is to have every single South African in slippers on the 6th of May.” – Julia Sotirianakos, Reach For A Dream, CEO.

Each sticker purchased goes towards the Reach For A Dream Foundation, helping children harness the power of their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses and making these dreams come true.
