Easy Chocolate Cake Recipe – No Flop

It is so important to find a no flop easy chocolate cake recipe for your kid’s birthday parties so you know that having a failed cake just before a party is not going to happen. My mom shared this recipe with me many years ago and it has never failed me. I make it every year for my children’s birthday parties as well as other celebrations. And yes while I would like to make cakes that look like they come from Little Bake Boutique I am content to settle for ones that are tasty and no flop but look very homemade!

I am so glad I stumbled across this recipe. I was looking for a really easy no-flop recipe for a chocolate cake. JD’s birthday is around the corner and I really wanted to bake a cake myself. But I am so not good at baking. :-/ Thanks for sharing.

It is such a reliable recipe! We made it yesterday again this time using caramel instead of icing and it was divine.
