I am always online searching how to improve my online business and learning about Search Engine Optimization. I stumbled across this amazing website: Wealthy Affiliates.
This is not filling envelopes, posting ads online or any sort of scam that I have regularly come across. The reason I want to share this information is that I regularly come across mommies looking for work from home opportunities. I have always warned against looking for online work from home opportunities because up to date all I have seen are scams!
This is not a get rich quick gimmick, or make money overnight.
This is a business opportunity that will take time and effort but really pay off!
It really caught my interest so I registered for free to see what it was all about.
How to work from home online business:
Wealthy Affiliate offers many things, here is what I love the most:
- Two free websites, yes completely free!
- Online training, step by step guide on how to set up your websites.
- Outstanding 24 hour support – from other members and even the owners of the website!
- They teach you how to utilize your own websites to make money online. Honest money, no scams!
Here is a simple explanation of how it works:
- Choose a niche: something you are interested in.
WA guides you through this process by teaching you how to choose your niche.
- Set up your niche website.
No experience needed! WA guides you through the whole process step by step with easy to follow tutorials! It was so quick and easy it shocked me. As someone that already owns an online business I couldn’t believe how simple and easy it is.
- Get traffic to your website.

It does sound good, however nothing is ever as good or easy as it sounds and let me tell you to get traffic to your website will not be for free. So if you want to do this, you will need to spend money to get top ratings on eg google. Maybe you must give us progress update in about a months time. Good luck and thank you for the share.
Hi Valerie. Yes you are totally right, you will need traffic! But full training is provided on the website. How to get rankings, traffic, market… everything. Not everything costs money, you can get a lot just from the tutorials. As the owner of Kaboutjie and working online for a few years I have learnt so much just in a few days there that is so beneficial to this website! Absolutely loving it. And yes I will give you a progress update. PS today I made my first $8. Not much but for one week in I consider that a huge achievement.

Great site! It has helpful information about having an online business. As a work-from-home mom, I am always looking for ways to provide for my family. I like how you clarify what the program is not, and give all of the information upfront- like it takes time and effort!

I have visited your other website and I find it so great. Love that you are using your own experience to help others. But getting back to this post, I agree that there is nothing to lose with WA. It is free to begin with and full of great tips. But to truly succeed, let’s face it, one will need to go with the premium membership.

This post in particular stands out for me as I have a website dedicated to finding real opportunities online and also highlighting the scams to avoid…
Funny part is, highlighting the many scams is “less lucrative” than creating a sales pitch to get people to sign up to them… Yet I tell people not to sign up to the scams anyway.
Wealthy Affiliate though is not only the best training I have found so far for anyone trying to work from home… To date, It is one of only two systems that I have been willing to put a LEGIT stamp with my name on.
It took me years to find Wealthy Affiliate and I am glad that I did. You have offered some great advice for readers.

This is not just selling products, this is a completely new way of doing things and you can choose exactly how you would like to make money. This post how to work from home online business just explains some of the basic ways. You can do affiliate marketing where you hold no products or make sales yourself. All that happens if you do get someone that takes up an offer you promote you will get paid commission.
