I don’t know about you but I just love getting things in the post or delivered to me by courier, especially at this time of year. Everything seems to be getting a bit more frantic already so if I can avoid the shops I will. There is something so special about opening up a package, so I was so chuffed when my new MOM diary arrived on Friday.
For those of you that don’t know the M.O.M. part stands for Most Organised Mother, it is diary that has been put together by Alison Deary. A busy, working mom of 4 boys! And these boys have provided her with some good experience with managing her time and being organised.
I just have two children, they aren’t even out of preschool yet and I am finding getting things done and being organised is a daily battle.
Alison brought out MOM diaries in 2010, and since 2012 I have had my MOM diary with me every year without fail.
I have loved that these diaries are designed with a busy mom in mind. The MOM diary has some little features that make a big difference to us moms, like the extra blank spaces for shopping lists or notes. There is space to put your class lists and my favourite, kids sport and cultural time tables.
I have to say that every year I have loved my MOM Diary but this year Alison has outdone herself with bringing out a completely new look that I fell in love with as soon as I opened up my package.
See the image does not do it justice, the new cover is actually soft and feels luxurious. I never would have thought it could make such a difference. Yes I admit it, I have been stroking my new diary. It sounds kinda strange, but just wait until you get yours.
Plus included in this year’s diary are lovely looking recipes throughout the diary on glossy paper. I can’t wait to try those out.
Alison also has WOW diary, which stands for Wonderfully Organized Woman, it is basically the same as the MOM diary except that it doesn’t have all the special children’s pages in it.

I love this idea, but to be honest i don’t carry a diary of any sort…. an app for my phone would be FANTASTIC, would be awesome if they would consider that 🙂

Yes the world is really going digital with everything these days. I still love having a diary though!
I’m meeting up with Alison from MOM Diary soon, who knows maybe she will come out with a cool mom app?

We really need it. For now everything is going on phone sticky note and if i dont put it there i forget…. i feel like Dory most days!!! Lol
