On Wednesday Netflix hosted a Mother’s Day brunch. I had a prior commitment to attend the #MommyHero Happy Event on the same day which meant I could only make it to the Netflix event after it had started which was a huge disappointment to me considering both events were absolutely amazing.
The theme of the Netflix brunch was to completely pamper and spoil moms – and they nailed it. On arrival I was greeted by Miche and she gave me a soft and comfortable robe and some slippers, along with some headphones. I was then taken to choose some mugs to have personalized before heading in to settle down for a pamper session.
Caitlin arrived with an ipad to help me choose something great to watch on Netflix – she asked me a few questions and put on the first episode of Frankie and Grace which I had never watched or heard of before and its a good match for me.
Now I’ve got my next series all sorted for me since I’ve come to the end of all the series I am watching.
While being entertained on Netflix I got a manicure and a pedicure – a far cry from a normal Wednesday afternoon in my life.
At the end of the afternoon I landed up sitting next to Jacki from Eclipse Public Relations having a lovely chat.
Thank you Netflix and Eclipse Public Relations for a lovely afternoon and for all the lovely gifts.
Mommies if you are wondering what series to binge watch next here is a great selection put together by Netflix just for you this Mother’s Day.
Oh my, another great event done and dusted.
From the posts that you guys share, it looks like the sponsors really go the extra mile in ensuring that you guys are treated and well cared for while attending these events.
I’ve never had a manicure or pedicure. I have had a massage once which was Heaven on earth.
I’m always curious to see what you guys get in those goodie bags.
What a great way to make Mom’s feel special by giving them a mani, pedi and have them watch Netflix. (I hardly have a half an hour for myself these days).
I’ve watched the first two Seasons of Jane the Virgin and I LOVED it. You should watch it if you’re looking for a great series about motherhood and romance. It’s very funny at times. I really enjoyed it.
I’ve also watched Gilmore Girls years ago. Another great series to consider.
I had to downgrade my DSTV package a while ago and I have to admit, I miss the series the most.
There are a view currently showing that I am missing out on, but until my financial situation improves, I will have to find other ways to keep myself entertained.
