March for Milk 28 February 2015

Join Milk Matters on their March for Milk.

Milk Matters is a Cape Town based charity organisation that collects and supplies breastmilk to babies deprived of their mothers’ milk, giving them the best possible start to life.

In addition, Milk Matters, a registered Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation, feels very strongly about informing the public and all related parties of the advantages of breastfeeding.

Headed by a passionate and dedicated team Milk Matters aims to educate both the public and medical personnel about the need for donor breastmilk and the incredible benefits that it provides to babies.

In the Western Cape, with a high prevalence of premature babies and the presence of HIV, the need for donated breastmilk is pronounced.

Whether you wish to make a donation that will make a difference to a child’s life or if you would like to find out more about breastfeeding in general, their site provides you with a wealth of information.

  1. This is such a cool event! I don’t think they have anything like that here in our area. I’m very happy that everyone is pulling together to help the preemies who need the care so much. 🙂
