EduVision School Ready Laptop Review

My kids and I were so excited to give the EduVision School Ready Laptop a test drive. In this modern age it is essential to have a good device for kids to learn on. Throw in a worldwide pandemic that has led to parents learning how to homeschool and balance their own work and commitments with their kids and the need for multiple devices and excellent software has become even more vital. We have been using the laptop for a few weeks and now I’m ready to share my EduVision School Ready Laptop review with you.

About EduVision

Adele Bronkhurst is the founder of Eduvision, she is a qualified Brain Profile practitioner for Neurolink. She has made it her goal to help learners with her understanding of the brain and learning.

During the pandemic she gave back by making all her books free for parents to download and use.

About The Eduvision School Ready Laptop

The laptop is a 14″ windows notebook by Point Of View with the following specs:

As you can see from the above specs the laptop is more than adequate and offers everything that you and your kids may need for homeschool use. It is also perfect for parent’s needs too, so if you need backup device for your own purposes you have one on hand. I’ve had my fair share of spilling my coffee on my laptop and being without a device until I can arrange a new one. Having a spare device on hand is always amazing.

The laptop comes pre-loaded with Zoom and Adobe – all the essential tools required for online lessons  and completing school work from home (and work from home if need be).

It also comes with some previous exam papers for your child to work through.

The EduVision Educational Suite

When you buy your EduVision School Ready Laptop it comes with the EduVision Educational Suite which is educational software for the grade your child is in, available from Grade R to Grade 7.

Each bundle is packed with fun exercises (available in English and Afrikaans) for spelling, comprehension tests, reading, math, cognitive thinking, logical reasoning and concentration.

If you have more than one child using the laptop you can purchase additional grades at a reduced price.

My Verdict for The EduVision School Ready Laptop

My kids and I absolutely love the Eduvision School Ready Laptop! It is the perfect size for young children and offers everything that they could possibly need for online lessons at home. The laptop is fast, the battery lasts a good amount of time (about 4 hours), the sound is good and so is the video quality.

I love that everything comes pre-loaded and ready to go. I’m not sure about you, but I am not fond of downloading things and setting things up. I like it to be as easy and simple as possible, especially this last year where so many things have become so overwhelming.

The EduVision software is amazing. My kids love being online and playing games. They are always fighting for screen time and I prefer to limit the time they have online, especially when it comes to Youtube and mindless games. They love the EduVision software and since it is educational I am more than happy for them to spend time using it and they are over the moon getting extra screen time, making it win for all of us.

Check out my Instagram story highlight for EduVision showing my kids enjoying the school ready laptop.

For the current price of R4999 for the laptop including the EduVision Educational Software for your child’s grade you just cannot go wrong buying the EduVision School Ready Laptop. You will also be supporting a mompreneur in South Africa, as well as supporting the Abraham Kriel Kinderhuis as R20 is donated by Eduvision for every laptop sold!
