  1. I am not going to lie my son is now 11yrs old. When I was pregnant the doctor actually kept looking for twins I was so huge which ment I stretch marks too. Very bad ones where they looked like they were bleeding. At 6months I could have popped and from 5months on wards I tried coconut oil, aloe, and vitamin e oils – all to no avail. To this day I have a terribly marked stomached that could do with a tummy tuck even the doctor was negative about me healing thats how bad it was. but one thing is for sure I have no regret being a single mom with all my stretch marks and white tummy. I would do it again for my son.

    • I need to start working on my stretch marks, I have never really tried anything to get rid of them. I think you need to apply things constantly for a long period of time to see a difference @nics82?

I totally agree with you though, while I don’t exactly like my stretch marks I also don’t mind because I have my two beautiful children. I could have spent time trying to get rid of them but I had more important things on my mind like breastfeeding and cuddling my babies. Perhaps I will find some time to focus on getting rid of my stretch marks… five years down the line LOL

  2. @lynne I think the longest I tried was maybe a month I eventually gave up and just accepted my beautiful stretch marks regardless all that mattered to me was I was okay and alive and healthy to look after my son

  6. Nothing really helps Lynne. All what those things do or did was just give make my stretch marks light so the look like my skin color. I moisturized my tummy from when I was only 3 months pregnant and thought it would help. Using all kinds of oil to nothing. After giving birth I had black thick ones but at least they a lighter now. There’s nothing I can do to make them disappear so I just left them like that and I don’t put so much pressure on myself. I wear them with pride. ❤️❤️❤️

    • I still have stretch marks and my kids are 8 and 10 years old. Our bodies change and we need to accept that too, like you say 🙂 However my stretch marks are much lighter than they were right after birth. You are so right, wear them with pride :0

  7. Wonderful love trying home remedies but I must say after 3 years they are starting to not look so bad I have come to accept them.
