This is a wonderful initiative.
It breaks my heart when I think of all the children that are under privileged and will not be getting anything for Christmas.
After all, Christmas is the time of giving. And when I say giving I don’t necessarily mean giving each other a present. Giving to the under privileged and the lonely, especially the…[Read more]

OK, so we already know which foods to avoid when going on a date ….
Now we can look at foods that are great for increasing libido and that are good to eat when you’re going out on a date and you have romance on the menu.
An ingredient called capsaicin are found in all varieties of chillies. This ingredient triggers the release of end…[Read more]
This is not a Department that I’m too familiar with.
I haven’t been on many dates in my life. I generally met people when going out and most of the time we all went out in groups.
I can say that I went for a coffee date with my husband the day after I met him. This is probably why we’re still together.
Today marks our 10-year anniv…[Read more]
Have you ever wondered which of the two is the best for weight loss?
We’ve seen hundreds of articles or posts about eating fresh fruit and vegetables to lose weight.
Thinking about it, I was sure that vegetables will trump fruit in this instance.
Surprize, surprize! Fruit attribute more to lose weight loss than vegetables.
According to a new s…[Read more]
I’ll remember this tip Ronitha.
Our days are still ahead of us. JD is now almost 23 months old, so he’ll probably start potty training within the next few months.
I love that you can use a simpler solution than shop bought gimmicks that cost a fortune.
As long as it works, I’ll give it a try.
I’ve put JD on the waiting list for a pre-school…[Read more]
Every girl dreams about her wedding one day.
A beautiful dress, stunning flowers, a great venue with friends and family watching admiringly while you walk down the isle on the arm of your father while your handsome prince awaits you in front of the altar.
The reality today is that a wedding is costing an enormous amount of money and couples that…[Read more]
I have to admit, before my son was born I hardly ever took note of this item and never used it.
This obviously changed and is now one of my favourite items.
I am talking under correction, but I think Cherubs wipes are biodegradable and eco-friendly. One of the main reasons I love this brand. Their wipes are also soft and quite moist…[Read more]
I found this recipe on the Internet.
The author refers to it as their own tried and tested, no-fail recipe.
You are very brave to try a marshmallow recipe. I don’t know if I’m silly or not but it does sound like a complicated thing to make.
And I’m usually one for easy recipes with very little ingredients.
What I do like about this…[Read more]
Thanks for reading @ron03 and adding your tips!
I agree with them all. 😀
Young kids are so vulnerable and their self-esteems can get crushed so easily if a situation is not handled correctly.
Did you know that today is the 29th of May which is national bed wetting day to create awareness of this condition?
My article was posted just in time…[Read more]
All Mommies know that the moment you have kids that money for beauty essentials or treatments are a rare commodity and we would rather spend money on our kids.
I will go to the shops to buy something for myself but end up buying clothes or a toy for JD.
Thank goodness we have tools like the Internet and clever people that have tried and tested…[Read more]
Thanks for a great review Angie.
One of the top big ticket items on my baby list was a Jumperoo or something similar. But after I had my baby and already bought all the other much needed items like a stroller, car seat etc. I decided not to buy one.
I opted for a walking ring instead but only used it for a short while after my son started…[Read more]
Great review @Lynne.
I can definitely relate. When JD was a small baby I used the normal baby stick thermometer, but it has been such a struggle.
It takes forever to beep and no baby and especially toddlers will lie still. JD was always curious about it and kept trying to pull it out. It felt like I was wrestling him all the time.
He had…[Read more]
Wet wipes, the miracle product for bums, stains and cleaning.
I have back-up wipes in my handbag, JD’s schoolbag, JD’s nappy bag at home, in my bag for work and a few extra’s that I buy bulk so that I don’t run out.
Whoever invented wet wipes was a genius. Give that man or lady a Bell’s because they made one heck of a difference in the daily liv…[Read more]
